Kevin Rodrigo – Google

Kevin is passionate about leveraging technology and helping ed-tech companies deliver value to teachers, students, and parents.

Currently at Google as a Senior Account Manager where he works directly with ed-tech partners, Kevin has also worked with other tech multinationals including Microsoft and Apple.

This breadth of experience over more than 20 years in the ed-tech industry gives Kevin a unique insight into improving educational outcomes with technology.

Nicole Billante – Christ’s College

Nicole is the Assistant Principal – Curriculum at Christ’s College in Christchurch, New Zealand. Over the last three years Nicole has overseen a major curriculum review which has seen the introduction of the Christ’s College Diploma in 2022.

Her work focuses on increasing student engagement through agency and choice, and recognition of the importance of character and wellbeing education in addition to traditional academic content.

Lisa Thomson – Somerset College

An experienced educator and information technology specialist, Lisa is the Dean of Information Technologies at Somerset College, a role she has held since 2011.

Combining a passion for educational technology with a focus on the end-user experience, Lisa is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of system-wide technologies at Somerset College.

Alex Borlenghi – Ilim College

As the Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation at Ilim College, Alex has an extensive background in education, previously holding roles including Head of Digital Learning, Director of Pedagogy, and Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning.

Alex holds a Master of Education from Monash University with a specialisation in Digital Learning as well as a Bachelor of Arts from University College London.

Myles Carrick – Intellischool

Myles has 20 years experience in education, operating as an executive team member, operations leader, academic head of department, and classroom teacher. He has worked with large and small teams in corporate, SaaS, Higher Education, and K12, delivering meaningful improvement to schools.

As Intellischool’s Head of Engineering he brings together data management, software engineering, and integration to build amazing technology-based solutions for schools.

After joining Moriah College as a classroom teacher in 2006, Alison has progressed through a number of roles including Head of Differentiated & Innovation (K-6) to become the current Deputy Head of Primary, Teaching and Learning.

The Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation at Wesley College, Perth, Luke has a unique background that spans the corporate, not-for-profit, and education sectors. He is also a co-host of the EdLeaders podcast.

Luke utilises the breadth of his experience to bring a unique perspective in his work within schools and education to redefine the experience for students, teachers, and parents.

Mathew Irving – EdLeaders

Beyond being the Deputy Head (Academics & Strategy) at Wesley College, Perth, Mathew is an educational leader, strategist, facilitator, and consultant who also co-hosts the EdLeaders podcast.

With close to 20 years of experience in school leadership in both Australia and the UK, Mathew has served on both national and state-based education bodies and was also a national adviser for the Australian Curriculum.

Fred Ritman – Geelong Grammar School

Fred is a highly motivated and experienced leader and educator who is currently the Director of Information Services and Support at Geelong Grammar School. 

With experience in multi-sector change management, Fred has led a number of ICT projects and strategic change initiatives and is able to quickly and effectively realise opportunities and empower school leadership.

Kate Maccoll – St Andrew’s Catholic College

Having three decades of teaching experience, Kate has worked as an Education Queensland Regional eLearning Advisor and is currently the Leader of Learning & Innovation at St Andrew’s Catholic College.

With a passion for digital pedagogy, Kate is also an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) and, in recognition of her leadership and contributions, was named the QSITE Educator of the Year in 2010.

David Howard – Wesley College

David is currently the Head of Digital Learning and Practice at Wesley College in Melbourne, where he has led the selection and implementation of Schoolbox as an LMS.
David brings his experience from the classroom to his IT and leadership practice. Passionate for constructivism learning experiences within computing, David focuses on the user experience in and out of the classroom.

Anthony Yaremenko – Education Services Australia

Anthony co-developed and manages the Safer Technologies for Schools (ST4S) program that has established a nationally consistent security and privacy framework for online services used by schools.

Before this, Anthony has also worked as an executive officer in the Victorian Catholic Education Office’s ICON Administration Expert Group and Stream Lead Student Information Systems, and previously has served in various roles within the Victorian Department of Education.

Tim Gardiner – Bishop Tyrell Anglican College

Coming from a background in both technology and education, Tim is particularly skilled at identifying, architecting, and deploying systems schools that drive innovation, automation, and enhance the end-user experience – inside and outside of the classroom.

Tim has recently become the new Schools IT Operations Manager for the four Newcastle Anglican Schools after spending nearly nine years at Bishop Tyrell Anglican College as their ICT Systems Administrator and then ICT Manager.

Trevor is a highly skilled school IT specialist. His current role is Business Systems Coordinator at Chairo Christian School. He has also worked as an IT support technician in a number of other schools for over a decade.

His experience combines both work within schools as a senior leader and in the corporate world where he is currently working at Compass as Senior Manager for Independent Schools.

Director and Chief Product Owner at Schoolbox with a deduction to customer success, James has over 15 years experience delivering school software solutions.

Outside of Schoolbox, James has an education background in computer science, specialising in programming, software engineering, and digital systems.

His passion for education technology, digital leadership, and experience within schools is deeply ingrained in the global success of Schoolbox.

Duane Cox

With an extensive background in teaching and two Masters degrees in Teaching and Educational Management from the University of Melbourne, Duane is right at home in his role as Head of Education and Innovation here at Schoolbox.

Before joining the Schoolbox team, Duane taught IT, biology, and mathematics at a number of schools where he gained plenty of hands-on teaching experience. He is motivated to improve the student learning experience through the successful implementation of new systems in schools and to help shape the future of education.

Chris Barr

A lifelong leader in education, Chris has recently made the move to join Schoolbox as the newest member of the leadership team. His role as Head of School Engagement sees him working closely and collaboratively with schools across Australia and abroad.

Within schools, Chris has experience both in the classroom as well as in leadership roles in a number of schools both in Australia and Hong Kong.

Grant’s leadership role at Schoolbox sees him managing people and teams to bring the best out in them and deliver the greatest value to Schoolbox, and, by extension, entire school communities across the world.
