Schoolbox launches a new SIS / SMS integration, creating more choice for Government and Independent schools

It’s official, Schoolbox and Compass are collaborating on a new integration, with an exciting roadmap ahead. 

Working closely together over the last eighteen months the two organisations have developed a shared vision, with the aim to deliver a best of breed school technology ecosystem.

Bringing together two of the leading K-12 school edtech platforms in the market, Compass’ suite of school operational and student management systems, coupled with Schoolbox’s community engagement, collaboration and learning management system (LMS), this new partnership will bring tangible value to schools around the world.

Launching the first stage of the integration in the latest Schoolbox release, version 21.1, opens integration capabilities for existing Schoolbox and Compass customers.

Combined, the two companies serve over 2200 schools worldwide.

“We know our customers are looking to simplify their edtech systems, reduce costs, and condense the number of core providers supporting their schools, ” explains Sean Richards, Director and Co-Founder at Schoolbox.

The partnership will commence with the availability of a real-time data integration including student, parent, staff and timetable.

The teams have been working together to support the seamless flow of Schoolbox data back into Compass, streamlining reporting workflows from the LMS back to the Compass summative reporting engine.

Schools selecting these two complimentary platforms will experience an end-to-end turn-key education technology solution enabling them to operate at the cutting edge of pedagogy, remote learning, community engagement and school management.
