We are so excited to announce that the Release Candidate of Schoolbox v18 is almost ready and will soon be available for testing.
Here at Schoolbox, we know that the little things often have the biggest impact. Our latest release features many of the most popular requests in our user forums. We would like to thank our active Schoolbox Help community for their ideas and continued contributions to our online forums!
Release Candidate Walkthrough
Please join our webinar walkthrough of v18, hosted by Director James Leckie, on Tuesday the 13th of February, from 3 PM – 4 PM, to see a showcase of Schoolbox’s new features and improvements.
Some of the standout v18 features include:
Assessment Differentiation and Participation
Teachers will now be able to differentiate assessment for individual or groups of students. This will allow you to:
- Improve student engagement by ensuring assessment information is accurate.
- Support students who may need additional guidance, by customising content for them.
- Differentiate both the assessment description and due date.
Student Self-Reflection and Self-Assessment
Critical thinking and self-reflection are key components of modern learning, which is why Schoolbox now supports teachers to implement assessments with self-reflection.
This can be as simple as a comment completed when the assessment is submitted, but is most effective when coupled with a rubric.
Feature Tours
It’s now easier than ever to get to know Schoolbox! Moving forward, feature tours and guides will become a part of your introduction to Schoolbox.
These tours will automatically appear the first time you open a new area of the system and will take you through a quick walkthrough of the features on the page, or you can easily skip through them.
Other changes and features
