Schoolbox version 23.0 included the first stage of a new Veracross SIS integration.
The Veracross integration is API based, offering schools a cloud compatible SIS connector. Stage one is designed to provide core functionality, enabling schools to seamlessly connect Student, Staff and Parent data. Core to the day to day operation, this first stage will also include class schedules and class enrolments.
“The heart of this integration is school user data, allowing Schoolbox to reduce the complexity of integrating student information and presenting easy-to-manage tools for schools to tailor their Schoolbox experience,” explains Duane Cox, Head of Innovation and Education at Schoolbox.
“With many of our schools both in Australia and around the world looking for cloud-based solutions, adding the Veracross integration to our stable of SIS connectors was important.”
The next phase will look at how attendance, markbook and wellbeing data is entered and shared between the two platforms.
