Differentiated learning
New to this course, we’ve created differentiated learning resources to help you learn in a style that suits you. When completing tasks, you can choose to watch a short video, read an instructional guide, view an infographic, OR be guided on how to discover it yourself.
We’ve also distinguished junior and secondary school content, so you can access examples that are relevant to your school context.
Mapped to teacher standards
The Schoolbox Teacher Course has been mapped to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and the New Zealand Practising Teacher Criteria, so your staff can easily track which standards are covered in the Teacher Course for their professional development log.
Rubric feedback
We’ve upped our rubric game in the latest version of the Teacher Course to provide you with more targeted feedback in due work activities, so you know exactly what you need to demonstrate to become a Schoolbox Teacher Hero.
Seamless updates
In this latest design, we’ve addressed one of the common bugbears of Teacher Course subscribers – managing updates between course versions and the pain of multiple pages. In this latest version, you will have continued access to one Teacher Course page. We’ll update the videos, guides etc… as needed without directly impacting on your Teacher Course page. When new versions do come out, we’ll provide a guide to what’s changed and a quiz to test your knowledge of the new updates.
Connect and share
In the new Teacher Course, we’ve built in even more opportunities for you to harness the collective knowledge and experience of the Schoolbox community with plenty of opportunities to share and participate in forums.
Best practice advice
Not only will the Schoolbox Teacher Course teach you how to use Schoolbox, it will also provide you with practical ideas on how you can implement technology meaningfully. The course looks at how you can build flipped and project-based learning environments as well as delving into continuous reporting, effective rubric writing and using analytics for continuous improvement.
Customisable content
We recognise that every school is different, so we’ve built the course in a way that allows schools to customise the content for their staff.
